Jesus(c. 4 BC – c. AD 30 / 33), also referred to as Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus Christ, was a first-century Jewish preacher and religious leader. He is the central figure of Christianity.
Most Christians believe he is the incarnation of God the Son and the awaited Messiah (the Christ) prophesied in the Old Testament.
Jesus Christ's Quotes:
- “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.”
- “You are the light of the world.
A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.
Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” - "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away,
will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?
And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.
In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish." - "For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and everyone who humbles himself will be exalted."
- "Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to cast a stone."
- "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven."
- "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."
- "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you."
- "And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time."
- “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
